ROV Services

ROVs provide maneuverable platforms supplying imagery and remote sensors that allow supervision of sub sea operations from a variety of viewing locations. The vehicles are essential when installing seabed mounted structures, umbilical and flow lines, cables and pipelines, hook-ups to floating production, storage and offloading facilities.

With its fleet of five (5) SeaPup intervention class, three (3) SeaLion Work class, five (5) SeaEye Panther Plus Inspection class, three (3) FCV 1000 Work class, two (2) Seaye Falcon and one (1) Seaeye Tiger ROV’s permanently located in the Middle East region, FSME is a major supplier of ROV services to the local Oil and Gas, Drilling, Subsea Construction and Survey Industries.

FSME ROV’s are part of the service package that can be provided in conjunction with our survey vessels, equipment and experienced personnel to complete a wide range of projects on behalf of our Clients.

The fleet is supported from our purpose built office and workshop facilities located in Abu Dhabi which also have dedicated quayside for vessel mobilizations and ROV/Sensor ‘wet testing’.

FSME are dedicated to employing all field personnel in staff positions and currently have 82 staff ROV personnel based in Abu Dhabi.

Typical ROV Services include:

  • Jacket Inspection

  • Drilling rig support

  • Pipeline inspection

  • ROV construction support

  • Debris sweeps and ordnance detection

  • Salvage assistance

  • On board vessel processing, reporting and charting

  • Integration of geophysical and ROV techniques to minimise costs

  • As-laid and as-built surveys

FSME offers its own proprietary Digital Video system as an alternative to traditional video tape recording, providing full recording and replay facilities. The digital video system archives all video sources onto digital storage media and the system automatically manages the data so that minimal operator intervention in the process is required.
